Gift aid explained

Every time you donate to us we have the opportunity to increase the donation by 25% - at no extra cost to you!

Amazing, right? But we can only get our hands on this free money if:

  1. you're a UK taxpayer, and
  2. YOU GIVE US PERMISSION!

so....please give us permission!

All you need to do is fill out a simple Gift Aid declaration. You can do it by ticking the Gift Aid box on the donation form when donating online, or complete this form (it'll take seconds, we promise!).

And if you have any questions about Gift Aid...

Here's everything you need to know about Gift Aid

What is Gift Aid

Expand

Gift Aid is a way to increase the value of your gift to Bath Rugby Foundation - at no extra cost to you.

If you are a UK taxpayer, Bath Rugby Foundation can reclaim the basic rate tax (25%) on your gift.

So, if you donate £100 (thanks very much!), it is worth £125 to us (seriously, THANKS VERY MUCH!).

So please encourage them to tick the Gift Aid box on your sponsorship form when they sponsor you.

Do I qualify for Gift Aid?

Expand

In order for Bath Rugby Foundation to reclaim the tax you have paid on your donations, you must have paid income or capital gains tax (in the UK) for each tax year (6 April to 5 April) at least equal to the tax that all the charities or Community Amateur Sports Clubs that you donate to will reclaim on your gifts for that tax year.

Other taxes such as VAT and Council Tax do not qualify.
