Charity partners Bath Rugby Foundation are looking for charity partners to help us reach our fundraising goals. What is a charity partnership? A charity partnership is a collaboration between a business and a charity who share a passion for the charities vision. What are the benefits of a charity partnership? A charity partnership lets businesses discover opportunities beyond just money, engaging stakeholders in fresh ways that show true corporate citizenship. It gives both the charity and the business a chance to find new value and innovate together. Plus, it’s a great way to develop and test out new products and programmes, whilst increasing audience participation. Who have Bath Rugby Foundation worked with? Bath Rugby Foundation have been supported by many businesses in Bath and the B&NES area since its set-up 21 years ago. In recent years, the introduction of Fundraising Dinners have brought many businesses together to raise funds and help the Foundation continue to change young lives. Homewood: The Foundation were fortunate enough to be asked to be Homewood Hotel & Spa's charity partner for their Summer Launch Party. In attendance were Taittinger, Whispering Angel, Somerset Grill, Five Zero Super Cars, to name a few. We took two volunteers to sell raffle tickets to Homewood's guests and raised an incredible £1,300. To show our appreciation, we created a reel of the event and tagged all of the attendees. That way, Homewood was exposed to our Instagram audience and we were able to show our appreciation to our charity partner. Chris Cloete's Charity Trek: Bath Rugby player, Chris Cloete, approached us to be his charity partner on a challenge he is taking on with his wife. Having loved Bath and his team, Chris decided he wanted to give back to the community here through Bath Rugby Foundation as he leaves Bath Rugby and retires from professional rugby. Chris will be taking on a trek through Africa, to his home country of South Africa, all in the name of Bath Rugby Foundation. Chris and his wife will be driving through Europe and down the west coast of Africa to their home town, Port Alfred, South Africa, roughly 13500km. Along the way he will be visiting schools and communities, dropping off kit, all whilst teaching rugby in the hope of leaving a legacy for everyone he comes across, and for Bath Rugby Foundation. All funds raised will be split between Chris' adventure and the Bath Rugby Foundation. You can find out more, here. How do you become a charity partner?
