HI5! SEND Programme

Hi5! Inclusive Clubs – Term 5 (April - May 2026)

Bath Rugby Foundation’s Hi5! Clubs are fully inclusive after-school sessions for young people with additional needs.
We welcome all abilities, creating safe, supportive spaces where every participant can enjoy sport, make friends, and feel part of a positive community.


Why Bath Rugby Foundation?

Bath Rugby Foundation (BRF) brings 20+ years of experience delivering values-led, inclusive programmes in the local area.
Hi5! Club is a proven, highly structured, and warm environment where participants and families are individually welcomed and known.

BRF staff are trained, trusted, and deeply embedded in the community - with lived experience, SEND expertise, and long-term partnerships across education, sport, and health.

We meet each young person where they are and adapt support to nurture confidence, independence, and community connections:

About Hi5! Club

Hi5! Club is Bath Rugby Foundation’s SEND-focused programme, delivering weekly inclusive clubs for young people aged 7–25 across B&NES.

The programmes offer fun, safe, and welcoming spaces where participants grow in confidence, physical ability, and independence.

Trained coaches tailor every activity to the individual, ensuring every young person feels part of something. With parental support, trusted partnerships, and consistent staff, Hi5! Club makes inclusion real and joyful—changing young lives one session at a time.

Aims

  • Create an engaging environment where children and young people with SEND can participate in enjoyable physical activities.
  • Reduce social isolation.
  • Increase mental wellbeing.
  • Support and encourage parents to help their child lead an active and independent lifestyle.
  • Break down barriers and promote inclusion in sports, contributing to a diverse sporting community.

Hi5! Monday Club 

  • Ages: 16–25

  • Dates: 5 weeks

  • Time: 4:30pm – 6:30pm (Early drop-off available from 3:30pm)

  • Location: Bath Rec Sports Hub, North Parade Road, Bath, BA2 4ET

  • Cost: £25 per member for the full 5-week block

Hi5! Dance

  • Ages: 7-25

  • Dates: Mondays

  • Time: 17:30pm-18:30pm,

  • Location: Bath Rec Sports Hub, North Parade Road, Bath, BA2 4ET 
  • £25 per member for the full 5-week block (Hi5! Dance is included in Monday Club costs)

Hi5! Golf Club

  • Ages: 11–25

  • Dates: 5 weeks

  • Time: 4:45pm – 6:45pm

  • Location: Saltford Golf Club, BS31 3AA

  • Cost: £25 per member for the full 5-week block

Please note: Parents/carers will need to complete our form detailing their young person’s needs so we can ensure they are met. This form will be sent to you once your booking is confirmed.

Referral and participation

Referrals to Hi5! come from special educational needs schools within the B&NES area and the B&NES Children and Young People (CYP) Network. The clubs are designed to be inclusive, welcoming, and supportive, providing continuity and a safe environment where participants feel valued.
