Latest news Big Give Christmas Challenge changing young lives We can double our difference and change young lives during the Big Give Christmas Challenge from 3rd-10th December 2024. Bath Rugby Foundation is calling on supporters to help raise £36,500 to support vulnerable young people in the city. As part of the Big Give Christmas Challenge, every pound donated will be doubled. The Foundation builds confidence, develops life skills, and creates pathways to independence for children and young people, particularly those facing challenges such as learning disabilities, mental health struggles, and socio-economic disadvantages. Supporters can start donating to the Bath Rugby Supporters’ Club holding page (https://www.paypal.com/donate?campaign_id=SUW667UZ78P36), allowing their donations to be matched during the Big Give week. The theme of this year’s campaign is "Give the Gift of Opportunity", highlighting the real-life stories of young people whose lives have been transformed by Bath Rugby Foundation. Their stories show just how life-changing the work of the Foundation is. Changing Young Lives: Louis, Jaz, and Liam’s Stories Louis struggled with a lack of direction and self-confidence before finding support at Bath Rugby Foundation. Today, his life is transformed, and he is giving back to the community that lifted him up as Bath Rugby Foundation's . Jaz found her footing through the Alternative Learning Hub, and her success story is one of hope, determination, and resilience. Today, Jaz is working as Bath Rugby Foundation's Community & Assets Assistant, helping other young people thrive. Liam, once a student himself, now dedicates his time to supporting the next generation at Bath Rugby Foundation as Alternative Learning Coach. His journey is a testament to the power of community and opportunity. Supporters will hear directly from the young people whose lives have been changed by Bath Rugby Foundation. Donating to Bath Rugby Foundation will: Double £5 to £10, could give a young person with learning disabilities their first experience of a social club where they feel safe and included. Double £25 to £50, could provide a week of sports activities for a young person, helping them build confidence and friendships. Double £50 to £100, ensures a young person can travel to our Alternative Learning Hub to access their education each month.
