6 Nations 60k - A challenge worth cheering for

As the Six Nations roar into life, one of our own supporters and Bath Rugby player sponsor, Anthony Locke (Epark Engineering), is taking on an extraordinary personal challenge that lives and breathes the spirit of rugby. To mark his 60th birthday, Anthony is running six 10K races on six consecutive weekends across the Six Nations countries - all during the tournament itself - choosing to travel between venues in an electric vehicle rather than flying, championing sustainability as well as strength of character.

This epic journey will take him from Glasgow and Caerphilly to Nenagh, Waymouth Bay, Lake Maggiore and Lille, pushing his limits on roads that echo with the pulse of international rugby. His goal? To raise £10,000 for two charities close to the Bath Rugby family - the Bath Rugby Foundation and the Lewis Moody Foundation - doubling down on support for the communities our club cares about. 

My wife Rachael will be running each race with me and I’m going to be joined by other members of the family and friends at the various events so if you fancy joining me, please book onto any of the above and let me know.

For each donation of £6 we will gift the donor 1 entry into a prize draw for various rugby related prizes and we’ll roll this up so for example £30 would get 5 entries and so on – more details to follow.
