Bath Rugby Foundation is proud to announce a new initiative in partnership with Maddy’s Mark, offering rugby sessions for girls and young women at Midsomer Norton RFC. This exciting collaboration aims to provide an inclusive and welcoming space for young women of all abilities to explore rugby, develop new skills, and build confidence in a supportive environment.

The sessions will take place every Tuesday from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, running from 4th March to 20th May at Midsomer Norton RFC. Whether participants are picking up a rugby ball for the first time or looking to enhance their skills, the programme is designed to be fun, engaging, and empowering.

This initiative is part of Bath Rugby Foundation’s ongoing commitment to making rugby accessible to all, and it strengthens our relationship with Maddy’s Mark, a charity dedicated to supporting young people through sport.

Alex, Community & Operations Manager at Bath Rugby Foundation, spoke about the significance of the partnership:

"We are incredibly proud to support Maddy's Mark and their vital work in promoting positive mental health and well-being in young women through rugby. Maddy's Mark embodies the spirit of rugby – teamwork, resilience, and a commitment to supporting each other both on and off the field. We believe that rugby has the power to change young lives, and we are honoured to be a part of this important initiative."

Bath Rugby Foundation is also expanding its collaboration with Midsomer Norton RFC, a club that shares our vision of using rugby as a tool for positive change. By working closely together, we aim to develop sustainable opportunities for young women in the local community, ensuring they have access to high-quality coaching and a pathway into the sport.

Girls and young women of all ages and abilities are encouraged to join these free sessions and discover the benefits of rugby.
