Bath Rugby players have teamed up with Bath Rugby Foundation to make a life-changing impact this festive season through the Big Give Christmas Challenge. Together, they’re calling on fans and the wider community to help raise £36,500 to support vulnerable young people across Bath and North East Somerset (B&NES).

Running from 3rd to 10th December, the Big Give Christmas Challenge offers a unique opportunity to double your donation, thanks to generous pledgers who will match every pound donated during the campaign. With the potential to raise an incredible £73,000, this funding will directly benefit the Foundation’s Alternative Learning Hub and other vital projects.

Changing lives across B&NES

Bath Rugby Foundation works tirelessly to support young people limited by poverty, mental and physical ill health, and learning disabilities. By providing a pathway to education, life skills, and confidence, the Foundation is transforming futures.

The funds raised during the Big Give will allow the Foundation to:

• Deliver over 2,500 hours of physical activity, helping young people stay active and improve mental health.
• Provide over 2,000 hot, nutritious meals to children who would otherwise go without.
• Offer over 1,500 hours of classroom support to re-engage young people with education and build their confidence.

Bath Rugby players are lending their voices to this vital campaign, featuring in a series of videos that highlight the realities young people face and the transformative power of donations. From hunger and poverty to mental health struggles, the players share statistics and stories that show why your support is urgently needed.

How you can help

Donations can be made now via the Bath Rugby Supporters’ Club holding page (Donate), with every pound matched during the official campaign week from 3rd to 10th December.

Bath Rugby players are also urging fans to get involved by liking, sharing, and commenting on the Foundation’s social media posts to maximise the campaign’s reach.

Donating to Bath Rugby Foundation will:

• Double £5 to £10, could give a young person with learning disabilities their first experience of a social club where they feel safe and included.
• Double £25 to £50, could provide a week of sports activities for a young person, helping them build confidence and friendships.
• Double £50 to £100, ensures a young person can travel to our Alternative Learning Hub to access their education each month.
