Bath Rugby’s United team will return to The Rec in January taking on England U20.

Being played at Bath Rugby’s home, Season Ticket Holders will be able to claim a free ticket to the fixture, with Club Members granted access to a priority window to secure tickets.

In preparation for the U20 Six Nations, the age-grade international outfit will travel to The Rec, which will also play host to their fixture against Ireland U20.

The two sides met for the first time in January 2024, which marked the first sight of GB7’s and University of Bath’s Austin Emens in a Bath shirt who showed his 15s ability getting over the whitewash. Emens later went on to put pen to paper with Bath Rugby.

A year later, the two sides met again in a 12-try thriller which saw a dominant display from the home team at The Rec, with Jasper Spandler scoring four of Bath’s eight tries.

The fixture in January 2026 will mark Bath United and England U20’s third meeting and provide valuable game time for the players involved.

Of the fixture, Head of Rugby Johann van Graan commented: “This is our third match against England U20. It’s a valuable fixture for both sides and will give players match minutes ahead of the PREM Rugby Cup and U20 Six Nations.

“Remaining match fit is key to keeping the depth in our squad so being able to provide the players with this opportunity against England’s emerging young talent is great.

“Plenty of our players came through the England age-grade system so it’s clear what the pathway can do.

“We’re looking forward to welcoming the England side back to The Rec and we hope to see our supporters there.”

Season Ticket Holders have until Friday 9 January at 12:00 to claim their free ticket. Ticket claiming opens tomorrow at 10:00. Club Members’ priority window also opens tomorrow for 24hours ahead of general sale on Wednesday 3 December at 10:00.

All ticket proceeds will be donated to the Bath Rugby Foundation aiding them in changing young lives across B&NES and beyond.

Bath Rugby Foundation, said:
“We’re incredibly grateful to Bath Rugby for choosing to donate every ticket sold from this fixture. Their support allows us to reach even more young people who need stability, encouragement, and opportunities to thrive. The partnership between the club and the Foundation has always been rooted in a shared belief in the power of rugby to change lives, and this gesture strengthens that commitment.
