Our Beaujolais Nouveau Dinner proved to be a fantastic evening of great company, excellent wine, and heartfelt generosity - and we’re absolutely thrilled to share that together we raised an incredible £5,200 to support our work with vulnerable young people across Bath and the surrounding area.

The atmosphere at The Ivy was full of laughter, conversation, and celebration, but the true heart of the evening lay in the stories that remind us why events like this matter so deeply.

One of those stories was Meg’s.

“At 15, I was angry, scared, and completely lost. Excluded from school because of my ADHD, I believed I was a problem. Then I found Bath Rugby Foundation. They gave me patience when I expected punishment, encouragement when I expected criticism, and a place to belong.

In that small classroom, surrounded by people who believed in me, something changed. I went back to school, passed my A levels, went to university.

Today, I’m a police officer – proof that no child is beyond hope.”

Meg’s journey captures exactly why our mission is so important. Every pound raised helps us continue providing the patience, belief, and support that can change the trajectory of a young person’s life.
