Latest news BRF and Chippenham Women’s Rugby unite to promote female participation in sport In an inspiring collaboration, Bath Rugby Foundation (BRF) has partnered with Chippenham Women’s Rugby to deliver an engaging tag-rugby session for the She Can Be Active network in Chippenham. This initiative is part of a wider effort to encourage women and girls to embrace physical activity and sport within their local communities. The She Can Be Active project, initiated by Wiltshire & Swindon Sport (WASP), aims to provide accessible and enjoyable opportunities for women and girls to get active. As part of this initiative, BRF and Chippenham RFC are thrilled to offer weekly well-being sessions throughout the summer. These sessions take place every Thursday from 5:30pm to 6:30pm at Sheldon School, providing a welcoming environment for participants of all skill levels to engage in the sport. Alex Randall, the Community Manager at BRF and Head Coach of Chippenham Women’s Rugby, expressed enthusiasm for the programme: "We are proud to support She Can Be Active network and provide a platform for women and girls to enjoy rugby. Our sessions are designed to be inclusive, fun, and a great way to stay fit."
