We are pleased to announce our sold-out International Women’s Day Lunch at The Ivy Bath Brasserie, raised over £4,000 to support our work with children and young people across the region.

Guests gathered for a wonderful afternoon of food, conversation and inspiration, beginning with a drinks reception supported by Canned Wine Co., followed by a delicious two-course meal prepared by the Ivy’s talented chefs.

The highlight of the event was an engaging Q&A with Olympic gold medallist Amy Williams MBE, hosted by Bath Rugby Foundation’s Head of Fundraising, Halena Coury. Amy shared reflections from her remarkable journey in sport - from winning skeleton gold at the 2010 Winter Olympics to her career in broadcasting and motivational speaking - as well as the mindset and resilience required to succeed at the highest level.

Throughout the discussion, Amy spoke about the importance of marginal gains, a philosophy that resonates strongly with Bath Rugby Foundation’s work supporting young people. By focusing on small, consistent improvements - whether that’s building confidence, developing life skills, or simply showing up and trying again - the Foundation helps young people take meaningful steps towards brighter futures.

The event also included a fun fundraising twist, with guests purchasing Wonder Bars instead of traditional raffle tickets, helping to raise vital funds for the charity’s programmes.

Bath Rugby Foundation would like to extend sincere thanks to the event’s headline sponsors Advanta Wealth, Mogers Drewett and Novia Global for their generous support in making the event possible.

Thanks also go to The Ivy Bath Brasserie for hosting such a fantastic afternoon, to Canned Wine Co. for supporting the drinks reception, and to everyone who attended and contributed to the fundraising activities.
