Latest news London Lunch raises £42,500 to change young lives! Bath Rugby Foundation’s inaugural London Lunch was a phenomenal success, raising an incredible £42,500 to support young people who need it most. Held at M Restaurant, Threadneedle Street, the sold-out event was a true celebration of generosity, bringing together long-standing supporters from Bath and new friends in the City who are now part of our mission to change young lives. The overwhelming goodwill in the room showed just how powerful collective support can be in making a difference. Guests enjoyed an afternoon of fantastic food, entertainment, and rugby insight. The event was hosted by Bath Rugby legend David Trick, with a special Q&A from the ever-entertaining David Flatman, whose sharp wit and rugby anecdotes had the room captivated. The generosity of our guests—whether through table bookings, donations, or simply spreading the word about our work—will have a lasting impact. The £42,500 raised will help fund our Alternative Learning Hub, Hi5! SEND clubs, and Sport for All intervention programmes, ensuring we can continue to support young people in Bath and beyond. We were thrilled to see so many familiar faces from Bath travel to the City to show their support, as well as new supporters from London who have now joined our journey. Events like this wouldn’t be possible without the generosity of businesses and individuals who believe in our mission.
