Bath Rugby Foundation is delighted to be hosting the Love Rugby Festival at Bath RFC this April, as part of a nationwide celebration of girls’ rugby.

Taking place on Thursday 16th April, 1pm-3pm at The Rec, the festival is designed especially for girls aged 8-11, offering a fun, welcoming and inclusive introduction to the game.

Whether your child has never picked up a rugby ball before or is already playing regularly, the Love Rugby Festival provides a safe, girls-only space where they can build confidence, make friends and enjoy being part of a team.

The Love Rugby Series is all about creating positive first experiences in sport. With a focus on fun, teamwork and personal development, the session is suitable for all abilities.

Girls attending can expect:

  • A supportive, girls-only environment where they can be themselves
  • Fun, engaging activities led by experienced and qualified coaches
  • The chance to learn new skills and play rugby in a relaxed setting
  • Opportunities to connect with local clubs and continue their rugby journey
  • Exclusive Love Rugby giveaways on the day

For parents and carers, it’s a great opportunity to introduce your child to a new sport in a safe and encouraging environment, while helping them to grow in confidence and meet new friends.
