Latest news Mixed Ability Cup 2025: The UK’s biggest celebration of inclusive rugby Bath Rugby Foundation is proud to have delivered the largest Mixed Ability rugby event in the UK – the Mixed Ability Cup 2025 – hosted by Melksham RFC in partnership with the Melksham Stags. This year’s tournament was our most attended to date, welcoming 18 mixed ability teams from across the country. Hundreds of players, families, and supporters travelled to Melksham for a day that truly captured the spirit of inclusive sport: community, fun, and opportunity for all. Mixed Ability Rugby continues to break down barriers and open up the game to everyone, regardless of ability, background, or experience. The Cup is a brilliant example of how sport can unite people, create lasting friendships, and build confidence both on and off the pitch. The day featured both contact and touch rugby competitions, with incredible matches played in great spirit. Congratulations to: 🏆 Longlevens Mixed Ability Rugby – Contact winners🏆 BLTs (Bath Ladies Trojans) – Touch rugby winners The entire day was a celebration of what mixed ability rugby represents – not just competition, but inclusion, teamwork, and joy. Bath Rugby Foundation is incredibly proud to lead on this event and support the growth of mixed ability rugby in the South West and beyond. A heartfelt thank you goes to Melksham RFC, Melksham Stags, and all the volunteers and supporters who made the day possible. Manage Cookie Preferences
