In recognition of World Mental Health Day 2024, Bath Rugby Foundation is dedicated to making a positive impact on young people's mental well-being. Recent NHS data shows that 1 in 6 young people in England experienced a mental health problem in 2020, up from 1 in 9 in 2017.

Our programmes reach thousands each year, with approximately 12% reporting mental health disorders. We work with 1 in 3 participants with mental health issues, providing essential support through 84 hours of mental health workshops, 182 hours of therapeutic interventions, and 300 hours of PSHE sessions.

Our Alternative Learning Hub supports young people struggling in traditional education by offering tailored assistance that promotes resilience and emotional well-being. Learn more about this initiative here.

Additionally, our Sport For All programme engages young people through sport, promoting inclusion and teamwork while addressing mental health needs. Discover more about this impactful programme here.

At Bath Rugby Foundation, we believe in the power of sport, education, and inclusion to foster resilience and build confidence. We are committed to ensuring every young person feels valued, supported, and empowered to thrive.
