Meet Lucy Slade, our new Communications Manager at Bath Rugby Foundation! With a background in editing and journalism for two newspapers in North Somerset, Lucy's all set to bring her storytelling skills and passion for social impact to the team.

With a passion to create change, Lucy will use her previous skills in the media industry to amplify the charity's voice with the goal to change young people's lives.

Talking about her new role, Lucy said: "I am so excited to dive into the Foundation's mission of empowering young people in B&NES. I want to use my love of crafting compelling narratives and engaging content to make some noise and spark change for our young people.

"The Foundation's incredible ability to build confidence within young people is inspirational. I want to make sure every single person has heard of 'Bath Rugby Foundation' so we can continue to create this change through our projects and outreach in the community."

Driven by a deep belief in equal opportunity, Lucy's on a mission to bridge gaps and build communities. Let's amplify Bath Rugby Foundation's voice and make a real difference in the lives of kids who need it most.

A bit about me:

I made Bath my home over eight years ago, leaving behind the rural landscapes of Lincolnshire where I grew up. Our beautiful heritage city, with its charming book nooks and cozy coffee spots, captured my heart.

After an amazing three years at university, I couldn't bear to leave Bath just yet. I decided to settle in and call it home. While I cherish the tranquility of Lincolnshire's beaches and landscapes, I've found a different kind of beauty in Bath's stunning architecture and incredible people.

I'm an outdoor enthusiast at heart. Give me a beach or a scenic walk and I'm in my element! But I also thrive on socialising. You'll often catch me out and about on weekends, whether I'm meeting new people or embarking on exciting adventures.
